An argument with a neighbor that began over trivial matters escalated into a fight, requiring the intervention of the police and threats with a rifle. A husband and wife were charged with trespassing, illegal possession of a firearm, and aggravated menacing. The incident occurred in Serramanna, in the Pardedda area.

The activity stems from a recent intervention by the military, alerted via the emergency number 112 regarding an argument between a husband and wife (a thirty-eight-year-old and a forty-year-old) and a thirty-three-year-old neighbor. Initial investigations, according to the Carabinieri, revealed that, after the forty-one-year-old entered the neighbor's property, the argument quickly escalated into a fight: the neighbor struck the man in the face, causing injuries that were reported at the Nostra Signora di Bonaria hospital in San Gavino Monreale. In an attempt to defend her husband, the wife reportedly went to the house to retrieve a semi-automatic rifle (which was legally in her possession), then returned to the scene of the argument and threatened those present .

At that very moment, the Carabinieri patrol arrived, preventing the argument from escalating into far more serious consequences. The officers, with prompt and professional action, secured the situation, finding and seizing the weapon that the couple had hidden in the vegetation . At the same time, they also seized a second semi-automatic rifle, also legally owned by the man.

The Villasor Carabinieri are continuing their investigations, and the judicial authorities have been informed of the incident.
