Carabinieri officers from the Serramanna station executed an order prohibiting them from approaching the victim, issued by the Cagliari Court, against a 74-year-old pensioner living in the town, who was deemed seriously suspected of stalking, threatening, and abusing his family.

The measure stems from an investigation launched following a complaint filed by a woman who reported a long and persistent escalation of harassing behavior by her ex-partner. The investigation revealed a pattern of repeated harassing and stalking behavior, which continued over time, through stalking, stakeouts, and insistent telephone calls.

In light of the evidence gathered, the judicial authority ordered the man to be prohibited from approaching the victim and the places she usually frequents, as well as from communicating by any means.
