He lost control of the car and crashed into a parked vehicle. Then, he refused to take a breathalyzer.
The episode occurred last night in Serramanna, a 35-year-old man was released on bail for refusing to undergo an alcohol test.
The 35-year-old was driving a Golf, in via Roma at number 121 he lost control of the vehicle and ended his race against a Peugeot 206 parked on the side of the road.
The police intervened on the spot, the man was in a state of shock but almost unharmed. When the military asked him to take a breathalyzer to check his blood alcohol level, he refused.
A behavior that the Highway Code equates to driving while intoxicated: for this reason the 35-year-old worker from Serramanna had his license withdrawn. The vehicle has not been confiscated, as it does not belong to him.
