Very serious accident this evening on the 729 Sassari-Olbia state road , in the direction of Olbia at the crossroads for Monti. Three cars involved, five people injured, including a minor .

The causes of an episode that made the evening very busy for rescuers, law enforcement officers and motorists passing through the area have yet to be ascertained. First a car, after hitting the guardrail, overturned on the roadway .

While a team of the Olbia fire brigade was arriving at the scene, shortly before 8 pm, another car collided with a car in front of it, overturning in turn .

The five injured people were taken to the Olbia hospital with ambulances and with the air ambulance , which also intervened on the scene of the accident. The traffic police were also on the spot for the reliefs, the road was closed in the direction of Olbia to allow rescue and to clear the roadway.
