A serious traffic accident occurred this afternoon on the road from Cala Liberotto to Orosei. According to initial reports, the collision was a head-on collision involving an Iveco Daily and a Fiat Fiorino.
The impact was particularly violent and required the immediate intervention of the Siniscola fire brigade, paramedics, and air ambulance.
The two drivers were freed from the wreckage by the firefighters and taken into care by 118 personnel: the driver of the Daily by India 07 Galtellì while the driver of the Fiorino by the Olbia air rescue.
The conditions of those involved have not yet been released. The Orosei Local Police are at the scene of the accident, conducting surveys to accurately reconstruct the dynamics of the collision.
