A serious accident occurred in Riola Sardo. A woman was struck while crossing the street on Via Montessori. Maria Greca Piras, 66, died from her injuries.

The car was driven by a man from Seneghe. Carabinieri officers and emergency medical services (EMS) arrived at the scene along with a helicopter.
