He will not be able to set foot in the Monserrato area for a year. The serial molester who for months at the Monserrato Polyclinic has been harassing visitors and employees, especially women, has been identified by the Carabinieri of Quartu and Monserrato after careful investigations: an investigation carried out with the utmost discretion and which concluded in recent days with a report to the Police Chief of Cagliari, who has now issued the provision that prevents him from setting foot in the municipal territory of Monserrato, and therefore also at the Polyclinic.

The expulsion order was given to him last night after he was tracked down by the Carabinieri. The man, 51 years old, unemployed and resident in Quartu but of Neapolitan origins, did not bat an eyelid: his movements will now be monitored by the same police forces. If he were to continue his annoying behavior, he could risk incurring further criminal measures.

His, as stated in the provision, is "a behavior dangerous for public safety and damaging to the image and decorum of the Policlinico".

According to the investigations of the police, the behaviors were "also repeated in Cagliari, with requests for money, disturbances to motorists and, on some occasions, even damage to cars".

An affair that began in recent weeks, when numerous frequenters of the Policlinico reported the presence of this man, well dressed, with a tie, who approached the hospital parking lots asking for rides, looking for money and in any case creating a situation of fear in the people he contacted. A situation that also pushed the medical management of the Aou to ask for the intervention of the military.

It also emerged that in the middle of the night he approached motorists parked at the traffic lights on the 554 and on numerous other roads, asking them for lifts, often opening the car door, in short also creating a situation of fear that convinced more than one motorist to report these sudden encounters.
