At the end of July Roberta Barabino was sentenced with the summary trial to seven years and 8 months. But for a few days the unfaithful administrator who stole hundreds of thousands of euros from her clients , all fragile and disabled people , has been released .

The decision was made by the same judge, Giovanni Angelicchio, who in the abbreviated trial on six of the dozen cases she is accused of, had recognized the criminal responsibility of the unfaithful administrator.

Barabino, defended by lawyers Gian Luca Sannio and Antonio Secci, sentenced with her husband Graziano Coinu (to 3 years and 10 months), had been found guilty of the crimes of embezzlement, forgery and self-laundering and ideological and material forgery committed by a public official (for having falsified the signatures of judges) for having used the money of her clients for personal purposes and expenses.

The woman, who ended up in prison on June 13, 2023, was granted house arrest with an electronic bracelet after a year. She is now free again.
