The scientific dissemination of the most recent findings will be the focus of the event scheduled for today, Saturday, May 16, at 5:30 PM, at the Domu Nosta Archaeological Museum in Senorbì, where a conference will be held dedicated to the last two excavation campaigns conducted on the Acropolis of Santu Teru. The meeting represents an important opportunity to publicly present the research activities conducted at the Senorbì archaeological site, with the aim of illustrating the data acquired so far, the methodologies adopted by scholars, and future prospects for the study and valorization of the historical-archaeological context. Professors Carla Del Vais and Marco Giuman will present the findings, along with researchers Dario D'Orlando, Michela Collu, Alice Deiana, and Jacopo Conti, who have been key figures in the fieldwork conducted in recent years in the acropolis area. The initiative will offer the public the opportunity to learn more about the work of archaeologists and the importance of the research project linked to Santu Teru, a site that continues to yield valuable evidence for reconstructing the ancient history of the area.

Meanwhile, registration is officially open for the University of Cagliari's fifth archaeological excavation campaign, which will take place on the Santu Teru hill from August 24th to September 25th. The campaign, promoted as part of the "Santu Teru Project" by the Department of Literature, Languages, and Cultural Heritage and the School of Specialization in Archaeological Heritage at the University of Cagliari, is organized by the departments of Phoenician-Punic Archaeology and Classical Archaeology, in collaboration with the Municipality of Senorbì and the Ministry of Culture. Scientific direction will once again be entrusted to Professors Carla Del Vais and Marco Giuman. The excavation will be divided into five weekly shifts, and priority will be given to participants who guarantee at least two weeks' stay.
