"I'll kill you, your family and your children."

Threats made in 2023 by a 50-year-old man from Sassari against a 41-year-old man in Sennori, and the subject of a trial in which the former, in a Sassari court, is accused of arbitrary exercise of his rights.

"I'll find you sooner or later. Cuati (hide)" is the other intimidation, uttered as the threatened person leaves the house purchased at auction. The 50-year-old, the former owner of the same property, cannot bear to leave, despite having attempted various avenues with the buyer , even involving social services, to find an amicable solution. The attempt is to allow him to continue living in the home, perhaps at an affordable rent, and avoid eviction.

These attempts were in vain because, as soon as the injunction to vacate the home arrived, the man, according to the charges, allegedly committed a series of break-ins in the former apartment, destroying locks, forcing windows, and tampering with the gate.

Until the confrontation in June 2023, when the defendant entered his former home and refused to leave , so much so that the Carabinieri had to intervene at night to convince him to leave. Finally, the serious threats made against the new owner, who was also chased by car to the other home. These actions created a climate of fear for the injured party, as recalled in recent days in the case by the civil party's lawyer, Loredana Martinez.

He also noted that the house had been off-limits for over a year and that his client still lives in fear of the situation. The damages requested at the end of the intervention are nearly €16,000, while defense attorney Elisabetta Sotgia has requested an acquittal because there is no evidence of wrongdoing. The prosecutor, however, requested a seven-month sentence at the hearing. Judge Antonietta Crobu adjourned the hearing until April for further arguments and sentencing.
