A 3- year-old boy from Alghero was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months for mistreatment of family members in Sennori from 2012 to 2019. Humiliation and physical violence against his ex-partner were witnessed by his five children, one of whom was from a previous relationship.

The latter was allegedly beaten several times, in addition to being forced to stand all night on a kitchen tile while the defendant walked around him slapping him, an episode captured on video .

Among the incidents described under discussion by prosecutor Giovanni Dore, who had requested a four-year and six-month prison sentence, was the teenager's taking to a suburban area of Sennori, challenging him to a fight with a car jack. The young man, however, refused the challenge, and was even insulted for it . According to the charges, the couple's daughter was also beaten, while the main victim, as stated in the indictment, was the woman, struck on several occasions and, one day, hit by a coffee pot. "Sooner or later I'll kill you," she allegedly told her.

The judge also ordered the payment of an immediately enforceable provisional sum of €10,000. The defendant is represented by attorney Tania Decortes, while the civil party's lawyer is Liliana Pintus.
