In Selegas, the municipal administration continues its commitment to education and children. A €70,000 grant is on the way to strengthen the town's preschool, which was already the focus of a major renovation last year with the inauguration of a renovated, modern, and safe facility. The new resources will allow for further progress: part of the funding will be used to purchase furniture, while the most significant project will involve the creation of a new outdoor play area, designed to offer children adequate spaces to grow, socialize, and learn outdoors.
The Municipality of Trexenta is confirming its Summer Play Area service with lunch at the end of school days, offering concrete support for families and an opportunity for educational continuity in a family-friendly and stimulating environment. The stated goal is to make the school a point of reference for the entire community. With this in mind, the administration has already implemented measures to support families for the 2026/2027 school year, introducing discounted rates for lunch.
"Investing in schools means investing in the future of our community," emphasizes Mayor Alessio Piras. "We want to ensure quality services that are also accessible to all, because we believe that no family should be left behind when it comes to the education and growth of their children."
