This morning, the Forestry Corps and the Selargius Local Police raided "Su Petzu Mannu," near the 554 highway, where they seized two trucks believed to be used for the illegal trafficking of all types of waste, particularly ferrous materials and plastic.

An 8,000-square-meter illegal landfill was also seized, with three people reported at large for illegal waste trafficking.

The operation was carried out in compliance with an order from the Cagliari Court's investigating judge. The order was carried out by the Sinnai Forestry Corps, with eight patrols, and four patrols from the Selargius local police.

This is an investigation that began some time ago, carried out by the local police and the Forestry Corps to stem the worrying phenomenon of illegal landfills.
