Selargius, fire in the countryside: flames in a materials warehouse

The fire that broke out in the afternoon in Pitz'e Planu, in the Selargius area, attacking an old farmhouse where various country tools were kept has been contained and put out.

The fire developed along provincial road 12, involving the entire structure and spreading to the surrounding vegetation.

An operational team from the port detachment of Cagliari and a tanker from the Operations Center in Viale Marconi intervened on site and took steps to extinguish the fire and clean up the area. The police are investigating.
