It is well known that people from Sella have horses in their blood. But there are also those who aim to become professional jockeys . This is the case of Davide Pilitta, 18, who attends the French school of excellence in Chantilly . On February 28th he ran his first race and today he will run another. Having started at sixteen after passing the strict selections of French experts, Andrea combines study and 360° training on the horse.
"I started with the Palio degli Asinelli - says Davide - but my goal was to attend an important jockey school like Alessandro Botti's. The sacrifices are many - he adds - but the desire to get involved makes me overcome them all, like that of a strict diet to stay in weight and hard training. I thank from the bottom of my heart those who help and encourage me. My coach and great jockey Giuseppe Pes "Il Pesse", my godfather Andrea Mueddu, my parents Giovanni and Rosaria Mula, my brother Marco and all my friends".
