There could be a further twist in the murder of Mario Sedda , the 39-year-old killed in the spring of 2021 in Porto Torres .

The investigating judge of the Juvenile Court of Sassari, Elisa Marras, accepted the request presented by the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office for the preliminary investigation to examine the key witness in the Sedda crime, tortured and killed on the night between March 29 and 30 four years ago .

Tomorrow, Wednesday, March 8, the young man, believed to be at risk of intimidation, will be questioned . He told investigators that he received a confession to the crime from Emanuele Sircana, the 20-year-old held in the Quartucciu juvenile prison on charges of murder and felony assault . Through text messages, the suspect had boasted about committing the murder of Mario Sedda .

According to the witness, Sircana, represented by lawyer Alessandra Delrio, accompanied him to the location of the victim's body, in a green area on Via Sassari, at the entrance to the city of Porto Torres. The young man also stated that he had been subjected to intimidation and pressure from the suspect, which the preliminary investigations judge deemed valid.
