Gates closed and schools in the square on the day when the Invalsi mathematics tests in primary school are scheduled.

Many institutions remained closed this morning on the island , as assured by the organizers who are still collecting data on the strike membership.

In Cagliari, separate sit-ins: the Cobas Sardinia school met in Piazza Garibaldi, while in Via Roma, under the regional council building, the Cobas Cagliari and the USB met .

But the reasons that brought them to the streets are the same: «The delusional didactics of training "skills", the presumed "merit" (and the Ministry of the same name), which are considered not only useless but harmful for the State Public Schools». And then they also demonstrate "against the school of wild digitalisation and the waste of Pnrr money, spent on useless projects lowered from above ".

Fingers pointed above all at differentiated autonomy which "dismantles social rights while maintaining existing gaps and which will even produce an increase in inequalities". Without forgetting at the center of the controversy the school dimensioning which «has already created monstrous unmanageable institutes» and has «suppressed 366 institutes of which 36 in Sardinia». And then they ask for a reduction in the number of students per class with the coverage of all gaps in the teaching staff and ATA and a real investment plan for school buildings.

The rules on pensions are also under the magnifying glass: «We ask for the modification of the Fornero Law and the Dini Law which excessively lengthen working life and provide miserable pensions for future generations».

ATA teachers and staff don't even like the latest school collective bargaining agreement which provides for "ridiculous increases compared to inflation and the loss of purchasing power in recent years". And finally the inclusion of all temporary workers who have three years of service, with the modification of the recruitment rules.
