The Council of Ministers has approved the appointment of special administrations for the regions of Sardinia, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna, and Umbria, which have not yet approved their respective school size plans for the next school year . The Ministry of Education announced this, recalling that the size adjustment is part of the reforms envisaged in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), developed by the previous government, with the aim of adapting the school system to the student population.
Failure to comply with this requirement jeopardizes the resources already allocated. From what we understand, the measure concerns administrative reorganization and does not entail the closure of school buildings.
