Picking up your car and seeing it "searched" by thieves. This is the experience of a Sassari resident who was walking to the square in front of the train station at dawn this morning to get into his car and go to work. But someone was already inside the car, and upon seeing the vehicle's rightful owner, he had time to escape, but unfortunately, not empty-handed . The man took a bag and other belongings from the vehicle.
And now the Carabinieri are investigating an incident that adds to the many thefts that have occurred between the open space and the alleys of Corso Vico. This is an area rife with petty crime, which poses a threat to Italian Railways workers on their way to work, as well as to anyone who has to park in the square.
"We arrive here at 5 a.m.," the first people reported. "There's also concern because we find some of the people on the train." And those who live in the area every day notice the presence of abandoned cars, even without license plates, sitting in parking lots for some time. A sight that adds to the degradation of the surroundings.
