The ordinary court of Sassari has decreed the bankruptcy of the Casa della Divina Provvidenza . The decision, which arrived yesterday, was formulated by the panel chaired by Stefania Deiana, alongside Ada Gambardella and Giovanna Maria Mossa.

This marks the end of a legal matter that began in 2020 with the request made by two creditors, an employee and a company, to whom the sum of approximately 44 thousand euros had not been paid by the structure.

The requests had started a procedure that ended yesterday, after postponements and foreclosures. And the path of the preventive agreement attempted by the managers of the institute in via Sant'Anna to try to save the Ex Chronic Patients, a path followed in parallel with the proposal for a recovery plan, both of which however were rejected by the judges. Likewise , the 2 million and 800 thousand euros recently allocated by the Region with a change in the budget for the House did not change the college's mind .

" It is not possible to understand - the judges write in this regard - from an examination of the document when the contribution will be paid and in what manner ". With the bankruptcy, a bankruptcy trustee was also appointed and the temporary operation was ordered for three months in order to protect the approximately 40 remaining elderly guests and avoid the depreciation of the company value caused by the interruption of the activity of the Casa della Divina Provvidenza.
