Don Fernando Maria Cornet, excommunicated yesterday by the Pope , opened the church of San Donato in Sassari this morning. "I have not received any written notification from the Vatican," he says. The Argentine priest reiterated that he has nothing against Bergoglio, "from a moral point of view," confirming however his thesis that Francis is not the Pope because Ratzinger did not renounce the Petrine throne in 2013.

"If I will be reduced to the lay state? I will not reveal the strategy but it is clear that if I consider Bergoglio the Antipope, his decision has no value". After a few minutes, the Archbishop of Sassari, Monsignor Gianfranco Saba, arrived in the sacred building . "This is an internal moment for the Church, I will postpone the declarations to a future press conference", he replied.

It is assumed, however, that the high prelate reached Cornet to have him sign the papal notification.
