The 84-year-old father died of natural causes, he kept him at home for six days , watching over him in his bed.
It happens in Sassari , in the Monserrato district. A relative who takes care of keeping the apartment tidy has noticed this.
The woman, arrived at the house of the two, asked the man - a 51-year-old with mental disorders - to call his father to sit down together at the table.
And in that moment he made the macabre discovery. The 51-year-old in fact burst into tears and revealed to the woman that the old man had died in his bed for six days.
The carabinieri and the coroner intervened on the spot, who ruled out violent death from an initial examination on the body. In any case, the Public Prosecutor opened a file and ordered the seizure of the body to carry out the autopsy. No one is registered in the register of suspects.
