Two arrests yesterday in Sassari by the Carabinieri for attempted murder. The facts that led to the precautionary measures ordered by the investigating judge Gian Paolo Piana date back to July 19 in via Duca degli Abruzzi.

According to the findings of the military, a 62-year-old man from Sassari, who was sitting in the “Duca Bar”, was hit in the back of the head with a blunt object. The instrument was allegedly held by a 42-year-old man from Sassari, accompanied by two other people, one 38 and the other 44, both from the capital of Sassari, and all with several criminal records.

Reserved prognosis for the victim, still undergoing treatment, who suffered a brain trauma and a skull fracture. He did not want to file a complaint or name the attackers, who the carabinieri arrived at in any case through investigations. The reason for the violence is still unclear, perhaps linked to drug dealing.

Two suspects ended up in Bancali while the third is untraceable. The prosecutor is Maria Paola Asara while the lawyers are Maria Assunta Argiolas, Mario Pittalis, Lorenzo Galisai and Paolo Spano.
