Twelve years of imprisonment. This is what prosecutor Elena Succu requested in court in Sassari against a man accused of sexual assault on a minor.
In the abbreviated session, and before the preliminary hearing judge Giuseppe Grotteria, the discussion between the parties took place yesterday on the alleged sexual conduct of the 55-year-old, which allegedly took place in a town in the Sassari hinterland from 2019 to 2022, on a 9-year-old girl.
According to the accusations, the child's grandmother's partner committed them, taking advantage of the familiarity he had established with the little girl. The girl then confided what was happening to a family member, thus initiating the complaint and the current proceedings.
The lawyer Mario Pittalis assists the civil parties of mother and daughter while the defense of the defendant is the lawyer Maurizio Serra. The judge adjourned to February for the replies and the sentence.
