A drug house has been discovered in the Latte Dolce neighborhood of Sassari . State police have been investigating for months the suspicious activity of people known to be drug users coming and going from several homes in the neighborhood. Following a complaint filed against a woman in recent months, police officers conducted a raid yesterday afternoon. Two people were spotted waiting to enter an apartment. Upon seeing the officers, the couple fled. Investigators entered the home and found the door left open, and began a search.
In one of the rooms, a box used as a cutting and preparation surface was discovered, along with packaging materials and small bills. Six precision scales were then found, along with cocaine, marijuana, and methadone . A larger scale and a vacuum packaging machine were also seized. All this while the alleged buyers continued to come and go. The State Police are now reconstructing the supply network and any responsibilities related to the drug dealing activity.
