In the city itself, the Guardia di Finanza, with its economic and financial police unit, recently inspected a warehouse in Predda Niedda where numerous items intended for sale were stored, especially children's toys, household items, electrical equipment, and cosmetic products.
The military inspection led to the seizure of 17,260 "unsafe" products , lacking the CE marking or in any case lacking the essential requirements, information and warnings for use required by the "Consumer Code", to be placed on the market.
The legal representative, of Chinese origin, was reported to the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Sassari for violating the Consumer Code, resulting in the imposition of the applicable fines.
