Sassari, Nigerian armed with a gun shoots four shots and bites an officer

Four shots fired into the air by a Nigerian in Sassari who then bit a local police officer.

Serious episode, at midday, in via San Donato, in Sassari. A man, already known to the police, and reported to be in possession of a gun, suddenly fired two shots into the air on the corner of Largo Monache Cappuccine after staring at the local police officers for a long time.

Pursued by the municipal police, the non-EU citizen fled towards Via San Donato and was stopped by the local police officers also with the help of a Senegalese boy.

The state police and the carabinieri then intervened on the spot and arrested him and took him away.
