Medicines for human use displayed in a veterinary clinic in the Sassari hinterland. Discovered by the NAS in a 2021 health and hygiene inspection which led to a complaint for receiving stolen goods against the two pharmacists and a trial that reached its final stages yesterday in court in Sassari.

According to the prosecutor, the crime was a crime, even if it was of a minor nature, so much so that he asked for 2 months' imprisonment and a 300 euro fine. The defense lawyers Angelo Vacca and Chiara Loriga had a completely different opinion and, during the discussion, demonstrated that there was a lack of objective evidence of the accusation and also of the unlawful detention .

In fact, the two professionals have been running a clinic for 23 years where they accept donations for animals such as, for example, blankets. One of the accused explained, by issuing spontaneous statements, that those drugs , diuretics and antiemetics, were part of a series of offers made for the structure, which had been involved in volunteering for years .

Judge Giancosimo Mura's decision was to acquit both because the fact does not exist.
