13 convictions requested for the brawl at Pime. This is what was requested today in court in Sassari by the prosecutor Antonio Pala in the discussion on the events that occurred in the Santa Maria di Pisa neighborhood on October 27, 2017.
When some residents of the facility that welcomed non-EU citizens and several residents of the neighborhood clashed with stones, bricks and firecrackers, as a result of growing tension between the two entities and an alleged assault that occurred that day against a foreign boy. Five were later, at the end of the clash, reported with head trauma, fractures and various wounds.
The first crime charged to the 13 defendants was brawling, documented by the police officers who intervened on the spot with photos and videos. The second instead referred to private violence, caused, according to the accusations, by the encirclement and kicking of the car of the manager of the facility, whose glasses had been taken off and who was addressed with the phrase "This is the pimp of Pime".
The prosecutor asked for 6 months for the 13, 4 for the three accused of private violence, 7 for the two accused of brawling and private violence. The lawyers responded by identifying a scant accusatory framework and emphasizing how, in their opinion, there is no evidence of the accusations made against their clients. Judge Sara Pelicci adjourned the case to June 13 for replies. The lawyers are Mariano Mameli, Letizia Doppiu Anfossi, Sabrina Mura, Martina Salaris, Gabriela Pinna Nossai, Giuseppe Onorato, Marco Palmieri, Pierluigi Olivieri, Guido Demartis and Marco Manca.
