Sassari, Mario Scarpa's death caused by a caustic substance

Mario Scarpa, the man who lost his life this morning on Via Carlo Felice in Sassari, may have taken a caustic substance .

The man was found unconscious by first responders while lying on the sidewalk in front of a building in the area.

Emergency workers were unable to save him despite resuscitation efforts. If this hypothesis proves true, it will be necessary to determine whether or not the man drank the substance by mistake.
