The Fire Brigade intervened in the Serra Secca area in Sassari to rescue a 29-year-old mare who, stuck in muddy ground, was unable to get up.

The team, supported by two veterinarians, put the horse back on its feet by lifting it with their arms.

So with the help of the campagnola, the winch and some bands, leveraging a tree, Vela d'oro – this is its name – was finally moved.
