An armed robbery occurred this afternoon at the Carrefour Express store on Via degli Astronauti in Sassari.
A man broke in around 2:30 PM and, at gunpoint, forced one of the three employees present at that time to hand over the takings.
"Give me the money or I'll shoot," he said in a local accent. After taking the money, the robber walked away and, when he was at the door, reportedly said "Sorry" before fleeing.
The loot has yet to be quantified , but according to leaks, yesterday's money was also in the coffers.
Flying squad officers from the Sassari police headquarters rushed to the scene and will be able to use footage from numerous internal and external cameras to identify the criminal.
