Arrested after the theft of €600 worth of perfume in Sassari . A 30-year-old non-EU citizen went to Acqua & Sapone on Via Carlo Felice yesterday, stealing several products. When clerks attempted to stop him at the checkout, the man broke free and ran away.

The State Police, alerted to the incident, quickly identified the thief, apprehending him within half an hour in his home. This morning (Tuesday, February 10), a fast-track hearing was held in court, where the suspect, represented by attorney Martina Salaris, was charged with improper robbery , under charges brought by prosecutor Ermanno Cattaneo.

At the end of the hearing, Judge Monia Adami validated the arrest and ordered him to sign in at the police station daily.
