Carabinieri officers arrested a man in Sassari on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The operation took place last Thursday, April 30, when officers observed suspicious activity in a suburban home. The search led to the discovery and seizure of 11 grams of cocaine, various instruments used to weigh and package the doses, and €600, the presumed proceeds of drug trafficking.

The business was under video surveillance using swivel cameras, which the suspect used to constantly monitor the access routes to the home, likely with the intent of uncovering any potential law enforcement activity. Once arrested, the man attended the validation hearing, after which he was taken to Bancali prison.
