The patrol officers responded and found an injured person on the scene, who had managed to separate the couple but sustained injuries . Law enforcement then located the man and the woman, who showed signs of being beaten.

He already had a criminal record for domestic violence and resisting a public official, and was subject to an electronic tag . The arrest was validated today in court in Sassari by the judge, and the suspect was sent to Bancali prison.
