An alleged sexual assault against his 14-year-old daughter . A 38-year-old man was indicted yesterday in court in Sassari on this charge. He is accused of groping the minor's private parts on one occasion at her home.
The incident, reported by her daughter, may have occurred in Porto Torres between 2021 and 2023. The young woman had made the accusation to the Carabinieri in 2024, while the following year the investigators had ordered an evidentiary hearing for the teenager, who, during the examination, had reported to psychologists what had allegedly happened.
During the hearing, defense attorney Sabrina Falchi objected to the excessive vagueness of the timing of the incident, and also emphasized the context of family hardship where other critical situations had occurred.
The preliminary hearing judge, Giuseppe Grotteria, ordered the case to be examined in greater depth during the trial, as requested by the prosecutor Maria Paola Asara, who is in charge of the case.
