Major celebration yesterday in Sassari for the Tailors' Guild.
In the Church of Sant'Antonio Abate, the Intregu rite took place this morning, with the passing of the flag from outgoing obriere Mirco Moracini to new obriere Giovanni Andrea Pasca. The traditional exchange took place at the end of Mass, officiated by Father Davide Onida, and preceded by solemn vespers on Saturday, September 12th.
Also on Sunday, but in the evening, a procession through the city streets took place, carrying the statue of the Virgin of Montserrat. Other city guilds and the "Luigi Canepa" band participated. Today, concluding the three-day celebrations, a mass will be held at 6:00 PM for the deceased guild members.
