Sassari emergency room still in chaos: 74 patients in charge, of which 6 in red code. Outside in viale Italia , very long lines of ambulances, which block the traffic.

With these numbers (there is nine hours of waiting) , hospitalization for patients cannot even be guaranteed and situations of great difficulty can arise , above all for the health of the patients themselves. The reason for this emergency, far greater than the previous (already serious) ones, still remains to be clarified.

Sassari's emergency room appears incapable of being able to accommodate such a large number of users , given the downsizing of other peripheral structures in previous years. But probably something isn't working in the current internal organization either.

The new regional health councilor Carlo Doria, who is also the primary orthopedic surgeon in Sassari, is naturally aware of the problem and just after taking office, he announced a structural intervention in the Sardinian emergency rooms , including the one in Sassari.

In the meantime, the Nas have arrived on the spot.
