Two illegal outdoor seating areas were removed this morning in via Torre Tonda in Sassari . As reported by the local police, the managers of the venue, despite numerous requests, had not taken steps to dismantle the structures.

The workers of the Municipality did it and the expenses will be charged to the owners of the business . The agents of the Municipality made over 180 checks in the city premises in order to ascertain any irregularities. 28 illicit acts were registered and three activities were suspended with repeated behaviors on the illegal occupation of public land .

The police found that a neighborhood restaurant was operating without a permit, and decided to close it, as happened with a hairdressing business (the manager did not have the professional qualifications).

Six irregularities were committed by organizers of regularly authorized public entertainment events: excessive occupation of public land, failure to respect the times in which the event should have taken place and the limits for the release of music outside . A license was revoked due to repeated administrative violations and because the venue had not respected the temporary closure of the business imposed on the manager by the one-stop shop for productive activities. Ten sanctions were imposed on as many traders who had occupied a stretch of road with tables and chairs without any authorization. The manager of a neighborhood business was also prohibited from preparing food for using a non-compliant chimney, which caused smoke to be released into the homes above.
