The fact does not exist. Yesterday in court in Sassari an acquittal arrived for a 51-year-old from Sassari accused of domestic abuse towards his ex-partner and their daughter.
He, defended by the lawyer Maria Alessandra Delrio, was facing charges dating back to 2019 onwards, in which the man was accused of having stalked his peer with thousands of threatening messages on her cell phone. The minor was often at the center of the former couple's arguments and the 51-year-old allegedly went to the two's home demanding to see her and, on one occasion, having entered the home according to what was reported by the injured party despite the woman's opposition, the gesture also led to the charge of trespassing. Once, the alleged victim claimed, he allegedly told her: "I hope you die of cancer and alone like a dog."
The prosecutor had requested three years of imprisonment while the defense attorney Delrio asked for acquittal, demonstrating during the hearing that, in his opinion, the charges were groundless. And the judge then ordered, as written, full acquittal.
