Reported in Sassari for drug production and trafficking. State police discovered, on the night of September 20, a cannabis plantation and a homemade greenhouse in a home in a suburb of the city.

The officers intervened after a report to 112 of a man who was acting up and, when the police arrived, they noticed a person who, following identification, appeared very nervous.

Suspicious, the police proceeded with the search and found a veritable "laboratory" for illicit cultivation. Several potted hemp plants were discovered in the property's garden, but the most significant find was made inside the home, where, behind a hidden door, officers found a courtyard converted into a homemade greenhouse, complete with heat-insulating fabrics, fluorescent lamps for artificial lighting, and various containers of biostimulants and phytostimulants.

A total of 22 cannabis plants with inflorescences were seized, which tested positive for the presence of THC. All the material found, including cultivation tools, was seized and made available to the judicial authorities. The man was charged at liberty.
