Scary head-on collision between an ATP bus, headed for the city center of Sassari, and a car that proceeded towards the Serra Secca district. In the accident, which took place in via Carlo Felice shortly after 10 pm yesterday, the driver and passenger of the Megane were injured. Both were rescued by the 118 health workers, who intervened on the spot with the Blue Cross ambulance and the Italian Red Cross rescue vehicle who accompanied the wounded to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital.
The bus is that of the urban line 25 of the public transport company. The dynamics of the accident remain to be reconstructed: according to circumstances examined by the local police, which intervened for the investigations and findings of the case, the two vehicles collided head-on while traveling the road in opposite directions. The intervention of the fire brigade was also necessary to ascertain the absence of flammable substances on the road which was closed to traffic for over an hour.
