A fire that broke out in the early afternoon destroyed an apartment on the first floor of a building in via Romangia , in the Monte Rosello district of Sassari .

No people were injured or intoxicated .

Firefighters arrived and put out the flames. There was nobody in the house when the fire broke out.

The police are carrying out investigations to understand the origin of the fire .
