A fire broke out after lunch in the Latte Dolce neighborhood of Sassari. Flames rose from brambles on Via Leoncavallo at around 2:00 PM.

The fire, which was immediately reported by residents and was developing not far from the neighborhood club's soccer field, was quickly brought to the scene, taming and extinguishing the flames.

It wouldn't be the first time a fire has broken out in that area, creating a dangerous situation, especially given the thick vegetation. It's unclear whether the blaze was accidental or intentional.
