Indicted for manslaughter. Today in Sassari court, preliminary hearing judge Gian Paolo Piana ordered a more in-depth investigation in the case of a 34-year-old from Porto Torres , accused of causing the death of 68-year-old Domenico Francesco Pinna on March 28, 2023.

On that occasion, according to various expert reports, the defendant, driving a Fiat Punto, allegedly collided with the three-wheeled Piaggio Ape driven by the elderly man just outside Sassari, on the former 131 highway in the Porto Torres-Cagliari direction. The vehicle, struck, overturned onto its side, projecting more than 20 meters from the point of impact, and the 68-year-old man died of cardiac arrest caused by the violent trauma to his chest.

The defendant is represented by lawyer Ivano Iai, while the civil parties are represented by lawyers Gianfranco Oppes, Marco Palmieri, Mario Bonu and Sebastiano Paoni .
