Sassari, fails a theft and violates house arrest and attempts another: ends up in jail

From house arrest to prison. The doors of the Bancali prison in Sassari have opened for the twenty-five year old Gambian who last Thursday attempted to steal some goods from the Tanit in Predda Niedda and then had a fight with the security guards.

Yesterday the young man entered a car parked in Via Attilio Deffenu and, surprised by the State Police officers, reacted with force to the arrest before being stopped.

This morning in court in Sassari the non-EU citizen had to answer, in the summary trial, to the charges of attempted theft and resisting a public official. For him, defended by the lawyer Martina Salaris, judge Antonio Spanu this time ordered prison.
