Cosmetics thief in Sassari . Yesterday, a 35-year-old non-EU citizen entered the Upim store and began stealing a variety of beauty products, worth approximately €270 . The man hid the stolen items in several bags, from lipsticks to mascara, after removing the anti-theft devices. When he exited, the alarm didn't go off, and the suspect fled.

However, the action didn't go unnoticed by those present, who alerted the local police. The officers, having received a description of the suspect, located him on a street not far from Viale Italia. He indicated where he had placed the stolen goods and was arrested for attempted theft .

Today in Sassari court, Judge Paolo Bulla ordered the foreigner, represented by attorney Raffaele Rocco, to have his arrest confirmed and to report once a week to the local police headquarters. The prosecutor was Antonio Piras.
