Fears arose after a road accident occurred in Sassari around 1 a.m. between Saturday and Sunday morning.

Two cars collided at the intersection of Viale Dante and Via Torres , for reasons still under investigation.

The drivers of both cars were injured and then rescued by 118 staff , who accompanied them to the emergency room for further checks.

Firefighters and local police were on site.
