Two weeks of events for the Sassari Carnival. With initiatives spanning the entire municipal area, from Villasunta to Campanedda and Bancali, from the Sacro Cuore to Li Punti, from Monte Rosello Alto to La Corte, as well as the city center.

The program features 19 promoters and, according to the municipal administration, aims to reinforce the mission of making Sassari a tourist destination with a strong cultural and artistic presence. Tomorrow, Thursday, February 12th, the allegorical parade will take place through the streets of Monte Rosello Alto, followed by the widespread festival over the following days, encompassing clubs in the historic center and public spaces in nearly every neighborhood in the city, reaching out to the rural villages and coastal borders. Full program details will be available on the Municipality's social media channels and websites.

"It's a widespread event, designed to involve the entire city, with the goal of livening up the entire area and making Sassari more attractive and vibrant," says Culture Councilor Nicoletta Puggioni.

"We work to keep Sassari alive all year round, thus increasing our ambition to consolidate our position in the island's tourism landscape and beyond," adds the councilor. "Just as at Christmas and New Year's, our aim is to attract visitors who, over time, we offer the opportunity to discover our extraordinary artistic, historical, cultural, architectural, naturalistic, gastronomic, folkloristic, and identity-rich heritage."
