Sassari, beats his partner and threatens her with a knife. Then he lashes out at the police: arrested

Attack by a non-EU citizen this evening in Sassari against his partner.

The man, a Nigerian, allegedly attacked the woman with a knife in the historic center near Via dell'Insinuazione, also hitting her with his fists.

The attacker was soon reached by local police officers with whom he engaged in a fight. Then the Nigerian damaged a car of the same Municipal Police to try to escape. But he did not go far because he was immediately stopped by the police who arrested him.

He is currently in a security cell at the command post on Via Carlo Felice.
